For this third Simply Jesus Gathering we continue in our pursuit to create a conversational space, a community of people unashamedly committed to the idea that Jesus is enough. Simply Jesus.
This year we will center on the life and teachings of Jesus looking through the lens of his story of the great banquet in Luke, chapter 14. We will explore the idea of Invitation:
Our time together will include challenging talks, shared meals, smaller discussion and break-out groups, worship, and space to meet with Jesus in the beauty of creation. We hope you will join us!
Who should attend the Simply Jesus Gathering?
What’s the general schedule of the Gathering?
We will generally be together in a large group during the mornings and evenings. In the afternoons, there will be breakouts and discussion circles to sign up for, or free relational/ranch activity time.
Are children and teens able to participate?
The minimum age requirement to come and participate with a parent is 14.
What does the registration fee cover?
Your registration fee covers all meals from dinner Thursday through Sunday breakfast, the option to camp (with your own gear) on the property at 4 Eagle Ranch, and entrance to all sessions. Registration fees are paid directly to the Ranch to cover the expenses of your being there.
What does the registration fee NOT cover?
The registration fee does not cover any of the administrative or technical expenses (video, live streaming, website, sound, etc.), the travel expenses for our speakers, or discounts/scholarships for those who are unable to afford the full registration cost. We are accepting donations on the registration page to help cover these costs.
What are lodging options?
Camping under the stars at 4 Eagle Ranch is included in the cost of registration. (Note that you must bring your own tent/gear and there are no hookups.) Portable showers and toilets will be available for camper use. For those who prefer something a little more comfortable, we have arranged special pricing with the following hotels in Eagle, CO. (Note that this is the busiest time of the year for these hotels, so make your reservations early!)
What are my transport/parking options for to the event?
The nearest large airport is Denver International Airport. From DIA, we suggest renting a car or taking a shuttle to Eagle (Drop off at the Kum & Go station just off I-70 next to AmericInn). For those renting a car or driving their own, 4 Eagle Ranch has ample parking (but we do suggest carpooling!) We will provide morning and evening shuttle service to/from the ranch to the Kum & Go station in Eagle for those who need it.
What “ranch activities” can I participate in at 4 Eagle?
4 Eagle offers a host of activities (horseback riding, ziplining, 4×4 rides). If you are interested in signing up for a Thursday or Friday afternoon activity at the ranch, please click here. (The cost of these activities is in addition to your registration and will be paid directly to the vendors providing them.) An afternoon painting class will also be offered. If you are interested, please click here.
What is the appropriate dress?
Casual. We’ll be at a ranch! 🙂
Is my registration refundable or transferrable?
Registration costs are refundable through March 15, 2016. However, a $25 administrative fee will be assessed. Tickets are transferrable through June 15, 2016. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please email Erica Denney at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Words just fail me over all that I'm feeling through this. I've wept through joy and hope and pain with the stories that have been shared. Thankful that technology can be used to allow me and others to be a part of this.
To put it simply (no pun intended), I felt like I got hang out with Jesus and some really cool people. And everyone were equals. The speakers were as accessible as the person sitting next to you. No egos involved.
It was by far one of the best gatherings I've ever attended. Beautiful, simple and life-changing in so many respects. Everyone I've spoken to who attended, including the speakers, have shared similar sentiments. The entire experience is actually difficult to capture with words.
It's a Jesus experience like no other. I loved the intimacy, the interaction and the audience participation. I loved the short and to-the-point sessions.
I can't even put into words what a life-giving, paradigm-crushing, soul-transforming experience attending Simply Jesus is. It's truly unlike any other gathering of its kind out there.
