Conrad Gempf

Conrad Gempf

Conrad Gempf was born just outside of NYC, studied at Gordon College, Boston University and then across the pond to the University of Aberdeen under Howard Marshall. After a year post-doc in Cambridge, he took a job teaching New Testament at the London School of Theology.

In Conrad’s words… “I’ve written a bunch of technical academic New Testament stuff, especially on the book of Acts, but also three popular level books: Jesus Asked (about the Lord’s propensity for asking questions of people he encountered), Mealtime Habits of the Messiah (about different facets of Jesus’ life and work), and, most recently, How to Like Paul Again (8 things that convinced me Paul wasn’t an empire-building pedant). I have two genius offspring, one patient wife and zero cats.”
